I dont know if Im going to be able to do it,advice please
You are totally going to be able to do it! ( as long as it isn't too physically demanding) I say this because this happened to me and it was hard but I was able to do it. I live in Orange County for a few years and I got a job as a sexual assault advocate. Even though it was mentally straining and stressful, and as we all know stress is not our friend, I was able to do it. I think it was because I really enjoyed my job and believed in what I was doing. I know that you will find the strength to do it, just remember to take care of yourself, keep your appointments and smile. I was able to tell my boss about my SLE, I know that you may not be in that place right now, but I think that you will feel and find the right time to let them know. Best of luck!
congrats! What kind of job is it?
I sure hope you can do it. How nice to be offered your dream job. If you have time I would love to know what the job entails.
I wish you all the best.
There are ways to work around Lupus. Many accommodations we need are relatively cheap. Be honest with your boss. If they offered you a job, they already like you! No worries.
I wish you well & pray that you will be able to excel to the highest promotions.
Thankyou

It sounds like a wonderful job! Very fulfilling and purposeful. Can you sit most of the time or do you travel to clients' homes? I am sending you lots of light and am so excited for you! Susan
I travel to clients
I started my dream job about 4 months ago at the hospital I work at. I will be thinking of you I no you will be fine just don't over do it.
Of course you will be able to full fill your new job dream. I have been working at my dream job since I was diagnosed in Dec 2010. I work at Babies R Us and sell Baby Gear for 3 days a week four hours a day. My boss and fellow employees understand the disease and always to give me a hand when I need it so I am able to full fill my dream. Good luck I know you will enjoy your job.
