I found this very interesting. I feel that I have been suffering from lupus for years but the past two years for some reason my symptoms escalated and over the two years I became increasingly sicker. I found it interesting that the article says hormone changes can affect lupus and during these two years I kept trying to take hcg diet drops that are derived from hormones. I kept starting them but I wouldn't be able to stay on them for long because I would keep getting sick. So I would start and stop. I just wonder if there could possibly be a link?
Hormones are def an issue for me… childbirth in particular. Flares when menstrating… all connected
