Thanks reet for your info........I do know here in east TN when the east wind blows, it is a cold wind coming down out of the Smoky Mtns....I will start paying attention to that too.......
....and I think this full moon tonight is a double whammy because of a lunar eclipse tonight too !!! and I will be watching out for the computer problems on the 22nd !! Thanks again :) BLESSINGS

Yes, indeed it does. The lupus, the fibro, and most people feel a little off kilter or some a lot such as the crazies. My two sisters and I have been tracking this for years. My older sister has discovered when the wind blows from the east we hurt much worse and that is true. I can never figure out which way the wind is blowing and since she has a pond and can see the ripples on the water I will call her to ask her if I am hurting so bad because of east winds. Most of the time the answer is yes.
Another thing....mercury is going into retrograde on the 22nd and that can create havoc with many things including computers which is something I noticed over the years before I knew about such a thing. Look it up on google and see what you think. My hubby and I were pulling our hair out yesterday with ours and making all kinds of calls for appointments and other type of business related calls and every single person on the other end of the line were having computer problems. So our solar system does play a major part in our lives.
More hugs, and if you sit on the porch tonight, wear long johns and bring a goose down comforter! The cold will be upon you there, and heading our way. The wind has started picking up, so here comes that front on top of an almost full moon. Feel better soon!

Thanks for the hugs and the input Louise :) I live in Tennessee and learned all about planting the crops and gardens according to the moon signs many years ago :) I have spent the past few days sitting out on my porch and reading and watching the squirrels and chipmunks and birds....and I even sit out there wrapped in a blanket at night when I am sick ....last night was nice and peaceful...... I could hear the hoot owls down in the woods :)
hugs and BLESSINGS..........snowflake :)

Oh yes. The moon cycles definitely affect our minds, bodies, and spirits! It is an environmental factor, just as winds, and low pressure systems moving through can increase pain for many. More babies are born during full moon, and violent crime increases too. Those who have earth based religious beliefs do their home medicine making according to the moon's phase very often. The claim is it's more effective. Farmers have done planting different crops as well as harvesting according to the moon since before our known written history. Check the Farmer's Almanac sometime!
So, no you are not nuts, and not alone with the increase in symptoms. I always plan a couple of take it easy days when things could affect me. I dread the low fronts, my arthritis goes into overdrive.
So pamper yourself. Grab a great book and get comfy, watch something funny, use any relaxation exercises you know.
You are so right .....the temps have only been in the low 50's and cold north wind blowing all day.....and we have a frost warning for tonight.......I have had on my fleece and sweats all day ........and if I sit out on the porch tonight I will definitely
have on a coat plus the blankets / quilt LOL because my porch faces north and the wind will be blowing right on me !!! You keep warm too.....this cold is headed your way ........take care and hugs back to you :)

How does your menstrual cycle line up to the moon cycle? Hormones, especially estrogen, are definite triggers of lupus, and since our cycles are the same length as the moon’s, there’s going to be some amount of repeated patterns (maybe for others with different cycle timing, it’s a different moon timing…) Things to think about. It’s great to track symptoms against cycles, I did it thoroughly for a month but it was too much work to do it ongoing. I didn’t gain that much insight, but maybe if I carries out the study for longer I would
reet, add me into you survey on electronics going amuck. The last three days our phones, cable, and internet have been in and out. wanted to share a wind direction trick my father taught me. First, look at a narby tree, and find north by the moss growing on the north side. Then wet your finger in your mouth, and hold it up in the open. Since you know where north is, you can compare to determine wind direction! He hunted for our table year round, so he learned to stay up wind from his potential venison, pheasant, turkey, quail, etc this way.
I thought I was the only one whose fibro was affected by weather - Thanks! We both can take a nap today as little sleep, disrupted at that, spells challenges later - sleep deprivation can make you way off thought and emotion wise.
hugs, Louise

My hot flashes do seem to be worse during the full moon......I hadn't really thought about that until I read your reply !!! I had a complete hysterectomy 10 years ago... so hot flashes is the only cycle I can track LOL.....but all this is definitely something to think about and keep track of ......
I remember several years ago hearing a Dr. say that after a hysterectomy that your "brain" still thinks that you should still have your monthly period and you can still experience weird symptoms each month on a regular cycle.............something else to think about.............
Thanks for your reply and well wishes Faladora.....I am feeling better and slept until 10 am this morning which is LATE for me !!! LOL Hope you are have a good day too :) hugs and BLESSINGS

Louise, I will have to look at our trees to see if there is moss. I never noticed any. We have 36 trees on this property so I should be able to figure it out rather quickly. Thanks for the tip.
Does anyone else have more trouble with brain fog right now. Mine is horrible...I can't think, retain what I am doing, etc.
Friday night I was going to give my order to the waitress and I managed to tell her what I wanted but she wanted to know how well done the meat should be, what kind of dressing, etc. I could not get it out so my brother in law started answering. It was hilarious that he knows me so well to know what I like. Playing cards with friends today and I could not remember what I bid within seconds. It has been terrible. thank God I have such good friends that they laugh with me.
reet......you were RIGHT.......just wanted to let you know my computer has been acting absolutely CRAZY all day and it is the 22nd..........so you were right on !!!!!!! thanks for the info........:)
