I got a copy of my labs in the mail today, but I'm at a loss to what they mean.
NO clue :(
If I add a pic of them, could someone help me understand?

106-mylabs10.5.14 (548 KB)Ana is negative. In lupus will turn positive. DsDna is indeterminate meaning not positive yet but not totally negative. Can’t be determined from that test. These tests help determine lupus. Sometimes it takes yrs to turn positive. Of course most of then time they remain negative and the person doesn’t have lupus. Other tests checking for lupus are negative so far also. So you continue to manage any symptoms and checking LAbs to see if anything changes. Might also order other labs depending on your symptoms checking for other autoimmune diseases like arthritis, scleroderma etc. There are many depending on what you are experiencing. You are off to a good start.
Sure! If you want to just list them, I would be more than happy to tell you what they are. ANA is not a reliable test. It’s only right 50% of the time. So if it’s negitive --doesn’t mean you don’t have lupus. I ended up having a liver biopsy that showed positive ANA and yet my blood work was negative. This is why it’s so hard to yes do say you have lupus. SED, CRP should be high. Vit d should be low. WBC May or may not be high. Really again blood work is only part of the diagnostic work up for Lupus.
thanks :) I would have just typed them to make them easier to read, but I was just so lost I couldn't even find the numbers :(
the doctor has ordered three more tests for you..looks like she/he wants to figure out a little more..you should call and make sure that those blood draws are set up, the nurse could forget..it happens... :( ...it's the three tests written along the bottom of your test result page...take care!
