Could you use a little inspiration today?

Thinking about grandchildren, I have six of them, can make me smile when nothing else can. I do not have a lot of money and therefore I cannot buy them lots of things. But when I watched this video, I realized that I could be the kind of Nan who believes in her grandchildren - in their talents and gifts and abilities.

Without his Nan, this young man would not be sharing his gift with the world. I was inspired to be a more supportive Nan. I was moved to tears by this song.

What inspired you to keep going today?

Hello Ann,

It is my grandkids that keep me going too, hands down, every time! They are my heart!

What a great video, how nice to see a young man who is not ashamed or embarrassed to love his Nan so! And what a beautiful voice!

Thank you so much for sharing this!

Hugs,

SK

Hi Ann,

I'm pleased you added this because i watched it on the tele...he was one nervous wreck and everyone he crossed in life degraded him and he only went forward because his nan pushed him and Gary was disgusted by it because of his age...pure shame.

I have a step grandaughter who calls me nan since birth, when she comes with her dad they don't stop long but she's lovely doing dancing classes at 5yrs olf and ever so intelligent being brought up round older people...when i chat to her i mays well be talking to a woman my own age, she makes me laugh.

Ann my inspiration that kept me going today and anyother day is the love of my hubby....i can't say grandaughter like yourself and susan because i hardly see her and i hope you'll understand.

Hey all!

Loved ones always help! My son, husband and parents are the best! And I have great friends! Oh, and lest I forget my little dog, Dudley. He follows me everywhere. When I feel horrible, they can get me to laugh and get me out of myself. During this whole job search, they've been keeping me from flippin out. When it's over, I owe them big.

Hi Karla,

I think it's lovely how you have so many loved ones to keep you going strong as you've been through so many issues and this is lovely to hear besides the support we'll give you also.

Love & kisses Terri xxx
