I was diagnosed with Lupus 3 1/2 years ago and had several positive ANA's. I also had positive ANA as a teenager but never followed up on it. I had chemo 3 years ago. I was started on Plaquenil a year and a half ago. At my last rhematology appointment he said the chemo took care of the Lupus. I asked should I still take the Plaquenil and was told yes to take it.
A lot of symptoms I have he blames on the chemo. I have joint pain, severe fatigue, neuropathy in my hands and feet, balance issues, memory loss and cognitive issues. Now I am not sure if this is all left over from the chemo or if it is the Lupus. I made an appointment to see another rheumy next month.
