Hello fellow lupies.. Was wondering if anyone has had any success of getting pregnant after the removal of a tube? I've had 2 ectopic pregnancies in the last year and the last one resulted in the removal of my right tube. I'm just wondering what my chances are of getting pregnant or if there is a chance???
Best for your OB to answer this Pregnancy loss in lupus is usually due to antiphospholipids and miscarriage. Ectopic pregnancies are a whole other problem so options should be discussed with your OB.
My sister had 2 babies with the same exact situation. They are now 10 and 6. They were all natural no fertility drugs.....:) She had endomitriosis and many many issues. But everyone is different, you should talk to your doctor.
yea, I know.. However, I talked to my OB.. at first he told me not to get pregnant anymore, but after the procedure and I went back for my follow-up he said that I was ok to try again.. so I just wanted to know of folks that had luck with having one after having 2 ectopic pregnancies, and I guess that fact that i'm 37 almost 38 doesn't help the issue.
You should check out fertilityfriend.com. It is so nice to be able to connect with other woman who are in the same situation. You can find great support there. All sorts of groups…and I know a few groups listed as “getting pregnant with 1 tube”. I am still friends with a group of woman there, 5 years after my first was born.
I can understand, i was not able to carry to full term due the lupus. It is really heart breaking.
So i sincerely hope that you are able to get pregnant soon and carry it to a full term healthy child!!
