Thank you all for the info. I was thinking it was just me with the bugs bites.

How are you doing Lark? Hopefully you have healed up those bites, and found a way to keep them from you so you can enjoy helping your Dad in the garden.

I'm doing well, thank you! I got some repellent and so far, no bites!

:)

Hello Lark,

I do apologise for not beeing on and seeing how you've been but i am pleased you've had no more bites since using the repellent.

Hello Lark,

I've never been bitten by mosquitos but my eldest sister did she went away on holiday looking great and healthy and when she arrived back, my god she looked on deaths door how they'd knocked her about....so i deeply feel for you.

The severe chronic flare pains i was getting are easing up lighter so fingerscrossed by the end of the week i'm hoping it will have moved and i just get the usual aches and pains i usually get until another decides on hitting me.

My GP as helped me out though with putting me back on plaquenil till i see the new rheumo and things are took from there.

Thinking of you dearly Terri xxx

That's awful! Who knew that bug bites could be so serious.

I'm so glad that you're feeling better, and I hope that the plaquenil works! Apparently I'm supposed to be going on that soon as well.

Lark

Are you sure they where bug bits and not a lupus rash. The sun can cause a rash even when you have sun screen on. I suggest the next time that happens you may want to have a skin biopsy done to see. My rash looks like bug bits.

Hello Lark,

Have you been ok since we last spoke?...plus have you started plaquenil yet, it will be lovely to hear off you and to hear your update.

I've been doing pretty well lately, except for the heat!
I actually meet with my rheumy in a few weeks, so I'm hoping that he prescribes me some plaqeunil then. :)

Hello Lark,

Sorry about the heat affecting you but that's one terrible issue for us all...just be careful how long your out in it as you know already....and i hope the meeting wih your rheumo turns out to be a good one and prescribing you plaquenil is'nt a bad drug...yes it carries side affect slik all drugs but alot of people don't get them but if it is prescribed take it at night time like i do.

Well today i went down having seizures came around and lost my speech besides hitting my left side so i took another 1000mg of paracetamol and valium and slept quite a few hours and when i woke my speech had come back...the only trouble when your speech goes trying to talk best you can strains your throat and puts more pressure in your head.

You takecare of yourself Lark.

All my love to you Terri xxx
