HI everyone i know this is not really what a discussion is but i was wondering how many of us would like to have a show about lupus .what if all wrote to doctor OZ or the doctors and asked him to do a show on lupus and maybe he would have us come on to talk about this disease it needs to be out there for doctors to get them to understand and to help peaple who suffer from this tell me what yous think of this.dee bless us all.

dee, i started working on that letter today. i will post it as soon as i can. i think your idea is a good one…great way to get the attention of people who have never even heard of lupus—people who may be suffering and fighting that same battle we all have to fight: trying to figure what the heck is going on.
I sent my letter write to Doctor OZ on his show.hope one of us here from him or the Doctors.
GOOD IDEA! It does need to be mentioned in the media more often! The more people know, esp. very ,very well known people, the better chance we have for more beneficial research to b done for Lupus! Suzie :0)

I think that is a wonderful idea. I will write a letter too, but I need his e-mail address. We will have to pollute his in-box with requests to get the shows attention. I see so many commercials for ra, fibro etc-etc, but never anything about Lupus. Thank you for the idea.
I will definitely write to him as well. I will look for the email address, and get right on it. Maybe we can get our family members who don’t understand to watch, and get a better understanding of our disease.

Hi dee I did go to Dr.Oz’s sight and send him a request to do s show about lupusawareness. Hopefully one of us gets a response.
