Who feels like a good chat, maybe a few laughs?

If anyone wants to join me, I plan on being in the main chat room Saturday August 17 at 5 p.m. eastern time zone, no set topic, just getting together, maybe have a few laughs. Would love the company. Not allowed to drive for now due to pain meds and 2 others. Cross eyed not safe driving according to me. My doctor agrees. so I have CABIN FEVER BIG TIME!

I wish I could join you,I’m always looking for somebody to chat with but I work weekends and won’t be home till after 7 pm est.

This is a just in case:

we have a low pressure system moving through, some heavy rain, and a couple hundred people without power very near to us.

The main electric line on our property line going to our transformer on the power pole has been sending off blue light arcs, and burning up wet leaves and twigs from the neighbors tree grown into it. We very possibly may lose power sometime today, the 17th. If I'm a no show, you will know it's because I am at the mercy of the energy company! Where is a back up generator when you need one? Does anybody bicycle? We could find an electrician or creative engineer to hook up a stationary bike to produce electricity.....

Flutter and Ballerina, have a lovely weekend, happy you are able to work! will catch up with each other another time.

Back to bed for me, 2 hours sleep not enough. And I know as soon as I doze off, they will come knocking at the door. "No fellas, you may NOT run your cherry picker truck over my shrubs and fence. Please access from the neighbor behind us. Here's a cup of joe and egg and cheese biscuits to go. Thanks!"
