So today i went to see my Neurologist, finally they r listening, there is a med they can put u on for Autonomic and p. nerve problems. she was telling me u can have other connective tissues problems with lupus, yes even M.s. This is true because my sister has chrones and lupus vasculities.. So now set up with a EEG MRI and MRA and carotid ultrasound, the new med is... can not read her writing i will post it when my husband picks it up tomorrow from drug store. I see hope. I give thanks to the Lord
let us know. I go to see a neurologist Tuesday my fingers, and boobs are numb on the left side. I told my lupus doctor if she goes and start sticking needles in my arms again like they did 5 years ago I am waking out nothing flat
the med is called fludrocortisone .1 mg, I take it one a day everyday, and yes my fingers do the same thing,
Brand name of the med is Florinef. I took it many years ago when I had a cardiologist that was an expert on autonomic dysfunction.
When he retired, his colleagues refused to give it to me.
Note that it works by retaining salt and raising blood pressure, so it wouldn’t be a good med for someone with p nerve issues without the autonomic issues.
Glad you found the Florinef! It is a great med
