Sorry had to go to Dr's....LOL....speaking of Dr....I go on plaquinil for about 7 mos. I don't stay on long....I don't stay on any medication long...I don't think it is wise these days....the Plaquinil, when really strong bothers my stomach and makes me sick....cut it down, thats all you have to do. If it still bothers you don't take it at all. Plaquinil takes about 2 to 3 mos before you feel results but keep taking it to see if it does help.
I used to exercise all the time, but now I only swim, because I don't want the pain to return....if you had it once you don't want it again....swimming is great...you just float it takes all stress from your system...
Also fresh pineapple, eat it everyday ....if your anything like myself and the rest of us...inflamation will set in like a dirty dog...and that is a killer itself....but pineapple (fresh)
stops the inflamation from beginnging....believe me I have tried everything....also looked up everthing...but it is still great to hear everyone's story even though we are the same we are all so different....listen to your body and be kind to it, it goes through so much....it will tell you alot....
wow Celeste, it sounds like your doing everything possible to stay in survival mode!
I am looking Into the shots except the Benlysta has been taking those painsand stiffniss away.
I hope it continues.
without benlysta I would need injections.
I finally contacted a pain specialist office here in AZ. I am going to be off of pain meds 80% is what my goal is. I do sleep with braces on sometimes....that helps me too.
Celeste, your my hero. and such a champ. I read yuour post and was like wow. See after so long...for me... I couldnthandle it anymore. it took a toll on me emotionally and mentally.
so I know ur strong to keep doing what ur doing to make life work.
