Yep. I think many of the newly diagnosed don’t even know what some of the symptoms are and that’s why these links are so important. I hope people take the time to check them out.
I’m so excited to read these… But in response to Ann’s comment, yes, it is SO hard to deal with that paradox: here we are minimizing yet still being called hypochondriacs. Nope, it just really is THAT bad, and that hard to talk about too (beCAUSE we get so rejected and misunderstood when we do share!!!)
So true Faladora and it never ends. I finally mentioned my arrhythmias to my GP the other week (I’ve been having them for over 20 years) and she minimized as usual. She said it was anxiety without running any tests. No wonder we minimize.
Noone can compare their GP with other GP's Some of us may actually Have one who knows AND cares. What's the sense of going to a DR if you don't " tell all" and then don't do what they suggest.
