I hit the wrong button

At that point, it may be best to find new doctor. I am doing that now. None of us suffering from this disease should feel as bad as we do, even more so due to people and professionals doubting our Very real symptoms. I definitely have the sun sensitivity, hair loss a few times, rash only a handful of times. I did have a horrible problem with my skin a while back but it has cleared up. I did have ITP or low platelets. I have kidney issues already and the lupus is making it worse. I have asthma and nothing is helping me right now. I do get the fog, memory loss, nausea and vomiting, teeth issues from years of dry mouth, constant high white blood cells, kidney infections and stones (from the kidney disease), ibs, ulcers and neuropathy bad. I also get spells of migraines and severe joint pain. My mental health has it’s ups and downs but I think everything I suffer from is due to Lupus or is made worse from the Lupus.

I basically shared my problems because each of us have different symptoms and issues but doesn’t make them any less important. You are your own biggest advocate and need to demand better treatment for your own well being. One thing I can sugfest is a probiotic. It has fixed my ibs issues and I have hardly had any nausea or vomiting. I sure hope you fiind relief soon. Good luck and stay blessed.

Thank you Destiny! This will be the last time I will be seeing this dr. She is retiring. So I’ll be seeing her replacement after that. I’m so hoping that I can get thru to her this week. Something really needs to change. I try to exercise but this last few months I have been in so much pain I have not been doing much but staying in bed or my recliner. There for I’m gaining weight. That’s one thing I really don’t need. I already am heavy. When I was first diagnost with lupus almost 2 years ago I lost 50 lbs because I could not keep anything Down. But since I have gained 24 of that back. I just hurt to bad to do much movement. What do you do to keep your weight down when you are I pain?

Forgot to mention I also suffer from pancreatitis and gaul bladder issues. I need my gaul bladder out but am too unhealthy for it so I have terrible pains.

The insurance I am on is called Care Plus. Because I have Medicare and Medicaid, i was able to get it for free. It’s a Medicare supplimental insurance. I never have copays, they send food to my house when I get discharged from the hospital. Nutirsystem and Jenney Craig are discounted and they also will cover stuff like acupuncture. I think one of the best things they offer is free gym membership. You get to choose from a.list of local gyms depending on what you feel suits you. I am gonna go to tge YMCA because they offer aerobics and they have a heated pool. The pool is the most important past. My doctor and I agreed that water exercise would be the best thing for me. The program is called Silver Sneakers. Mind you I am just about to turn 36 but I quilified so I will be taking advantage of it when I start feeling better.

I have changed my eating habits a lot due to the pancreatitis and gaul.bladder. Along with those issues I have high cholesterol, triglycerides, hyper thyroid and my liver enzymes are off. If you haven’t had those checked out in a while then you might want to ask your new doctor to do so. Thyroid issues cause weight issues as well.

I sure hope this helps and you can get the answers you need.
