Haven't used it but love the idea of the comeback to "you don't look sick". "You don't look dumb but sometimes looks are deceiving"

I was rather intrigued with the concept of 'floured cent' lighting to be honest. Gak, what this 'Lupus' does to us eh?(;-) Kaz xo

Whoops...didn't edit my wonderful "spell check." But one mistake was fluorescent lighting.

That's a good comeback ha ha.

I assume you showed the new doc your original labs? Also are you on any medications for your symptoms? I ask this because when I first went to my Rheummy and the tests were pos for lupus…he put me on meds…since then my labs are better. If I were to go to a new doc they would probably not give me the obvious diagnosis…in other words, you only have to test pos once. Your symptoms are so similar to mine…I do take a lot to manage mine and NEVER go out in the sun. You have to get used to avoiding it or it triggers all kinds of symptoms. Find another Rheummy if you don’t trust this one.

My first labs were at my pcp. My ana was positive and sed rate as well as crp was high. We couldn’t find rheumy to take my insurance so my pcp sent me to a immunoligist. He repeated testing and added dsdna which he told me would be a important test. All came back positive again except for dsdna was a 6 (4 is negative and 9 is positive) new rheumy checks blood work 7months later and all is great. I been on no meds. Im new to all this and been pretty healthy my whole life but something’s going on in my body.
