Flu shot

hi i had my flu shot a couple of days ago, and it does make you feel yucky for a few days, so i would not worry about it too much, but if it is still bad inh a week i would call your doctor..purrs..catspaw1955

Suffice to say I won't be doing that again. How's everyone doing today?

Better to feel like crap a few daya than risk flu. I too had injection. Body aches, fever, fatigue w/ nausea. But Like I said… Whew, I had the H1N1 2 yrs ago. Id rather feel achey etc… for 3 days than in bed 2 wks. I too always only get non live version of flu shot.

Funny how I found the subjet of flu shot reactions when I logged on. Im up now waiting for tylenol, zofran & flexuril to kick in. Gnite Lupies. Mugs in California (Its 1:04 am here). Im never up tjis late.

lol

It made me laugh too Mugs. Hope your meds kick in soon.

Thanks for the replies. It confirmed my beliefs. Still achey, but not weak anymore. Guess it is just part of it. Next year I will take it at the beginning of the week so I can rest and at least have a decent feeling weekend. Saturday an hour nap did not even touch the exhaustion. Could have slept all day! Thanks friends. I wish all a good feeling day!

I was told by my kidney doctor to get a flu shot. I'm on Rituxan, Cellcept, Plaquenil and Prednisone for Lupus and kidney disease. I get the shot today kind a nervous, but I'll let you know if I get sick..

Yes I get sick from the flu shot so I usually just get 1/2 a shot..that was recommended by my rheumatologist

you might feel a bit tired and queasy the first day, but otherwise I think you should be okay…let us all know…purrs…catspaw1955
