Happy birthday Ann! Hope your light continues to shine for many more years. Enjoy your adventure!
Happy 67th Birthday Ann. Your story was so uplifting. You keep going forward & living your life despite a chronic dx. There's so much negativity to Lupus it's a breath of fresh air to hear someone live their best life despite it.
Happy birthday Ann!! It is an amazing story that should be told to give the beginners hope of some kind of life. Hope you have a blessed day!
Hugs, Shannon
GOOD FOR YOU!!!! i am convinced that positive attitude is lupus's worst enemy.

Belated Happy Birthday Ann!
Thanks for sharing your hopeful story after 47 years with lupus! Mom will be 81 tomorrow, she was born with lupus symptoms so I guess she has survived 81 years of Lupus. i can't even imagine living in this kind of pain for 80 years, but since all my aunts are near 100, so I guess I probably will. I hope my story gets to be more like yours.

Well, you may not have intended to rant but I think you needed to and you gave me a much needed laugh with your phrases expressing your anger. I haven't been laughing too much with this knee surgery recovery so thank you for writing the way you do. Hugs all around
Ann,
I didn't see it as a rant, and I'm glad you wrote it. I am researching other causes but next step is an endocrinologist in a city that I have no way of getting to. Thanks for mentioning bone pain. Even though I take 5000 IU vit D daily, I still have disabling bone pain, and my vit D level has NEVER been tested. Only tests I get here in Canada where they work as cheaply as possible is glucose, cholesterol, and last time I asked my hormones to be tested. I must be a miracle, because I have had no ovaries or uterus for 32 years and my hormones are all normal! I need to get my vitamin D tested, but since I'm on 5000 IU a day, I imagine they will tell me I'm normal even if I need more.I hope to find better diagnosis(es) and have a better quality of life like you.
Bless you, Sheila

Wow - that turned into a rant.
Sheila I apologize for getting so far off track when my intent was simply to say that I am very sorry that you and your Mom continue to experience pain. I am keeping you both in my prayers always.
Love ANN A.
