I am really starting to notice my hair loss it seems to have gotten worse in the past few weeks. I was just going to get extensions but its not going to cover all the bald spots on the top. I am looking at a wig so I can still do all my vintage hair styles I love so much. Anyone know of any good online sites? I am often in the Minneapolis/Rochester area for Doctor appointments, are there any good places there?
Louters, I wish I could be of some help. When I have a major hair fall out, I wind up with a head of hair like a regular person would have. Was meant to be twins maybe? Have enough hips to be, lol.
These are the few things that I know about wigs. A good one, is really going to be costly. The best ones are made of human hair, and many are marketed to women whose religion, especially orthodox jewish women, to ensure their hair is always covered but they can have the look of a more modern hairstyle instead of wearing a scarf. And lastly, 1 size does not fit all. Some of us have small or very large heads, and as with hats, the wrong fit won't work out.
Many women with diabetes also become very thin haired in their golden years. That market might be another avenue to investigate.
So maybe depending on how retro your favorite hairstyles are, could a few add in pieces that may not be as expensive be a solution? food for thought. hoep any of this helps.
