Support Group in Poughkeepsie, NY

Hi all,

I am recently diagnosed with SLE and fibro. The first thing I did was google trying to find local support. I came across a very nice woman who is trying to get a local support group off the ground. I am thrilled to have people on my team, and would love to grow our group even more. If you're in the Hudson Valley area of New York--Dutchess County, Orange County, Poughkeepsie, Highland, Lagrange, Lagrangeville, Wappingers, Hopewell Junction, Fishkill, Hyde Park, New Paltz or any other town nearby, please come check us out! Here is the information:

The facilitator of our little group is trained by the Lupus Foundation of America to facilitate our group. We meet on the first Monday of the month at 7pm at Jewish Family Services, 110 South Grand Avenue. We do take off July and August, but may meet separately so feel free to message me here for more information.

Good info for members in the area's you've stated...as we've had many members who have wanted to attend support groups and also meet other's.

Oh hooray! I'm so glad to have bumped into each other. I will definitely post here when we get some meeting times for the summer.
