Oxigen treatment and more

On the first week of may I started a blog after I had read a book called " i don't have lupus anymore." So much has happened since then... I feel like I had been in a roller coster ride. The reason why I am posting this here is because I think more people read it.

The treatment concist in four basic steps.THE HYPERBERIC OXIGEN TREATMENT, THE DIET, DETOXING FROM CHEMICALS AND LAST BUT ALMOST MOST IMPORTANT WORKING ON YOUR MIND. To say that I was overwhelmed it doesn't describe what I felt. I wanted to believe her but I didn't, the amount of information was too much all at once. Realizing that this was not an easy task I decided to dedicate a few months to this as my primary concern and dedication. Learning about food and exposure to dangerous toxins took most of my day at first. Meanwhile I was trying to anderstand all this my mind kept saying..." who are you kidding."

It took me a lot of time and frustrationg to make peace with the diet part of the deal. I felt like a victim without my regular food. I kept thinking "why me!" After I stopped feeling sorry for myself I started paying attention to the link between FOOD and SYMPTOMS. I downloaded a free app and started logging both, making amazing descoveries. Juicing (sorry for spelling mistakes I am working on an old computer) was making me sicker. This is the frustrationg part... the slow process finding out what works for YOU. So after spending on a good juicer I had to put it away and start searching for a good nutricionist. Many lab work later I found out that I had sky rocketting MERCURY levels most likely from eatting so much fish, another side effect of my quest for the right food.

Things started to turn around with the oxigen treatment! not right away but slowly I started gaining strengh and feeling less tired. Without realizing I started concentrating on the solution and not on the problem. One of the most important things I learned in the process is to take the future out of my mind... taking one day at the time and not expecting anything... just alowing myself to slowly re invent my self and my lifestyle. It took me several years to get myself to the point to where i was, with so much stress my body could not take it anymore.

I trully think without the oxigen treatment I would not have made it this far ...The inflamation in my feet is almost gone. I still get up stiff in the morning but not as much as before and I have so much energy.

Taking salt ,alcohol and coffee out of my diet (un cup of decaf) has totally eliminating the symptoms of dry eyes and mouth from sjongren syndrome! I still have the medicine that the doctor gave me for that. It had more side effects than benefits. It was not easy nor cheap to do what I am doing but for the first time in a long time I have hope and I regain a normal life. Different from the one I used to have, this one has new rules. Two weeks ago I had a glass of wine to celebrate that I had become a grandma! I am aware that this is not a done deal and now I am on a free ride. This is going to get better as long as I stay in this new lifestyle.

And that is what I wanted to share to all of you that so kindly responded when I was down and under.

Congrats on the new grandbaby, and your success in finding the lifestyle that lets you have quality of life!

It is so much trial and error, and I am on a very slow learning road. I love that you pointed out how you had to find what worked for you. We each have different reactions, needs and challenges, even with the same diagnosis. I am focusing on the KISS way of thinking - keep it simple silly. So to me, clean diet, whatever exercise is tolerated, avoiding triggers, and others. I probably will never reverse damages done, but am trying to stop any more happening.

I am so happy for you that you are doing well. Great news.

I just got back from my nutricionist the results of the Food sensitivity test results and it was amazing, somethings I knew , others I had no idea. But it was so worth it... I totally recomended. Now for ten days I have to just eat the food that I am not sensitive to so I can reduce inflammation. Good luck with your journey... would love to know what worked for you. You never know.. i owe all this to information on a book. Good luck to you, love to help in anyway.

Congratulations Grandmother! This is what we are living for… Blessings on our family expanding… Thank ou so much for sharing, I give ou so much credit for sticking with the diet and I am so pleased you are having good results. Can you please let us know a little bit more about the oxygen treatment you’re receiving. That sounds very interesting with probably a lot less side effects than pharmaceutical meds. Have a grea day! ~ Maré

I know… Who could think good healthy fish can make you sick!! Who would think that the best creams and shampoos in the market, expensive ones like Kerastase , are loaded with bad chemicals

Grandchildren are the most precious thing. I am glad you are finding something that works for you.
