There are several places where we have talked about magnesium and I have talked about how much I rely on my Epsom salt baths. This article describes a number of benefits from such baths.
Ann....I want a laxative!! The faster this die-off and toxins get out of me, the better I feel. I took an epsom salt bath today(I like ACV in the water too) and I did something a little different. Looking for a way to sweat more I came across this little info on how to make a sweat box. Don't do this unless your doctor says it's ok but.....I improvised a little by just covering up the top of the bath stall with cardboard and drew the shower curtain and liner closed. I prepared my bath as usual and then got in the enclosure. I sure did sweat! I'd like to try making the steam but you would need a shower chair to sit on or the water could scold you. I'm going to buy a shower curtain and stick hooks on inside top of stall and then drape it over the shower curtain rod instad of cardboard to make the enclosure. Then I would be able to launder the shower curtain. Cardboard is cumbersome. :') But it worked.
I have been watching Food Matters documentaries all week.
Just don't forget that magnesium will really get into your body across the skin - so if you take too many Epsom salt soaks - it will work like a laxative. And I bet you understand that I had to learn this from experience. Three times a week at 12 minutes is quite enough. LOL
