so I had immunoglobulins drawn - I have no diagnosis of anything right now - they came back high at 1570 - they stated normal was ■■■■■■■■ anyone know what that means? my IgM and IgA were normal... I also had my CRP and Sed rate come back- both normal....

On this site, it says it depends on which of the three types of immunoglobulins are increased: IgG, IgM and IgA. This test does not confirm a diagnosis of any kind but suggests that there is something going on. It is likely that either they have ordered or will order further tests to try to determine more. Was your IgG normal too? I have MGUS which is a pre cancer but that doesn't mean that I will ever have Multiple Myeloma or any of the other related conditions. My IgG is 1368 and the normal range for IgG is 700-1600. What were they looking for? It is great that your Sed Rate and CRP are normal.

im sorry my IgG was high that's the only that was high- and I had Polyclonal gammapathy . whatever that means

But may now have MGUS and be the IgG type like me. Ask your doctor if you could have MGUS. Stay in touch.
Was 1570 the total or the highest one? If it was the highest one, which IG was it? Also it is good news to have CRP and SED rate normal.

That is the high end of IgG, the highest of normal is 1600. The fact that your are polyclonial indicates that there is something inflamatory going on. See the definition at the top of this reference: http://flipper.diff.org/app/items/377 If you click the place where it says "Table 1" there are many lists". I would print the list and take to the doctor. He needs to figure out what your results indicate. A big part of it is what kind of symptoms you are having. Also tell the doctor which auto-immune diseases you already know have. Good Luck and think postitive! At least with polyclonal you do not have monoclonal when is a pre-cancer that may eventually turn into cancer.
