Jason I hear your frustration and anger and totally hope you get the answers and treatment you deserve.
I noticed a couple of people mentioning TIA. What is that???
As much as it sucks a three to six month wait for a rheumy appt seems to be the norm but usually worth it.
I wish you luck!!! Stay strong and keep advocating for yourself!! It took many years of suffering to finally get pointed in the direction of a rheumy and now I am on my second one and hopefully my last for awhile.
Terri, I agree.
Latina,
I've mentioned this many times to members having skin issues besides....get refered to a Dermo besides a Rheumo, they seem quicker and on the ball to me and mines a lovely bloke and covers all area's. :) xxx

Thanks for the info!! Scary!! Hope there’s no permanent damage!!
Hello Queenie,
With TIA's you can recover from 15mins up till 24-48hrs it's according to the individual...it took me longer through having to chronic strokes when i was 24 which paralised me totally and put me in bed for 4yrs.
Love Terri xxx

Both. I feel bad for everyone here but those TIA 's sound brutal!!
My wish is for everyone here to be able to return to a life they once knew…pain free and happy.
Sadly that is not an option so the best I can offer is a listening ear and my deepest sympathy and understanding.
Stay strong
A pain free and happy life would be nice. Maybe one day pain free will be possible with advancements in medical technology and treatments through research! But in the meantime, we can still be happy living a new “normal” life by finding our limits and not pushing them. I am happy to say the past week has been pretty well symptom free for me! Only issue I have had is my normal chronic joint pain which I have been living with for over 10 year and grown used to.
