Has anyone else experienced getting boils ALOT... It seems like every time I turned around I had one, either on my butt or vaginal area.. I was wondering what the world was wrong that I was getting them so much.. Well I did my research and found that people with auto immune diseases get them more often than people with out simply because it's an infection and we are more prone to them.. Well i'm glad to finally figure out why I keep getting them, now I need to find a quick solution for getting rid of them.
I used to get them very often...so much so that I had several surgeries to remove large portions of my sweat glands and then repaired with skin grafts. They were continually chalked up to Staph infections. The area where they appeared were often areas that were commonly warm, wet, etc. I would make certain that you maintain extra cleanliness in these areas as well as using adult barrier cream. Another way to quickly get rid of them is to apply tomato paste (I know sounds weird) but the acid pulls out the infection. Also, honey is a natural antibiotic that is good to smear on them to help them heal.

I've had them for years in the area's you've mentioned besides my chest and i used to have salt baths such alot and then squeeze them out but i have collected some scars through it over the years.
Doctor's tried different creams with me and nothing worked and on my chest when i used to burst those some have been on blood vessels, well the amount of blood till it stopped was mad.
Their main cause is through hair follicles known as "Hidradenitis suppuratva" (HS) for short "Acne Inversa" and forms with many autoimmune Diseases.

My former family doctor told me 10+ years ago that MRSA had spread from hospitals and nursing homes into the public, and become rampant. CDC is studying ways to combat it, and it keeps changing. One son had them the worst, so saw an infectious disease specialist. The staph germ actually hides in your nose, so besides using correct antibiotics for a few months, you also need a special ointment to eradicate it from your nose. They cultured us all, he was the only one MRSA positive, and thankfully it has stayed that way.
He also told me the majority of health care people carry or have active MRSA, to be sure anyone who comes near you washes their hands and slips on gloves. Worth getting tested when you have an active boil they can culture. Long term 1 of 3 things can happen. Your body either builds an immunity and after a time the infection does not affect you, you keep getting boils in a kind of numerous outbreak followed by none for a time, then repeat, or worse case scenario is it goes systemic. It likes to hit people's lungs, heart, pancreas, and even brain. Sadly it took out a family member during his fight against cancer.
Sorry if this info scared anyone. Regular staph strains can be eradicated far more easily. You can buy the same wash they have you use before surgery, and it works wonders if you or anyone in the family is having issues with boils.

OMG I can so relate I had 4 boils last year and all had to be cut open and drained. Two of them landed me a few days in the hospital and I did IV antibiotics every day for 2 weeks twice now. First if was MRSA and then I had a C.Diff infection in my colon. I dont hardly go anywhere so I dont know how I keep getting these infections and now my left ovary has a cyst on it that measure 5 x 5.2 mm. I go back and see the doctor on the 13th and I think she wants to do surgery on it.

That sounds like the cyst I had. I used to get them around my vagina but this last one was at the top of the crack on my bottom. They lanced it and it was MSSA so I was very lucky.
My mother, who I believe had lupus and Sjogren’s but was not diagnosed, was battling T cell lymphoma and was fairly successful but got a Staph infection through her central line. That infection is what killed her and it wasn’t MRSA but MSSA. So keep in mind that it doesn’t have to be MRSA to kill you. After this last cyst, I use hibiclens for every shower. Lancing and packing that cyst was way to painful to do again.

Great News... No surgery needed the cyst has shrunk but she did say that I have some fibroid tumors but they look benign to her. No need to see her again unless I have problems
