Hope this makes you smile...
I have 3 of my husband's nieces at my house learning to make candes.
While they created I was focusing my attn between candles and using my laptop to find an out of state atty.
So, this happens in the space of about 10 minutes...
I find who I am looking for on the internet and leave the page with the information up on my screen at which time much to my regret & dismay, I don't yet make the call.
I decide it's time to check on the girls. I walk into the kitchen at which point one of them says something about what they are having for dinner and I suddenly recall that my husband asked me to take steaks out for dinner to defrost. Oh, no he's going to be home in 30 minutes and these are thick steaks which will probably need 3 hours to defrost, but maybe I can defrost them in the microwave and he won't notice (yeah, right). So, I make my way all the way out to the garage (approx 6 feet away) and begin looking in the freezer for the steak...they are nowhere to be found. Well, maybe they are in the freezer in the kitchen? So I begin the long trek back to the kitchen immediately bypassing the refrigerator to open the pantry. I give the dogs a treat from the pantry while I am there. Hmmm? What am I looking for??? Oh, yeah, my cell phone to call the atty.
Where is that pesky cell/steaks? Not on any visible flat surface, not on the couch, not under the couch, and definitely NOT in the pantry! However, I am a woman on a mission and seeing that 8 eyes are better than 2, recruit the girls to tear the house apart looking for it. Almost immediately it's found by the 4 yr old... on the charger.
Whew, now I can make that phone call, at which point I sit down on the couch, pick of the remote control and begin dialing.
Thank goodness my husband texted me five minutes ago saying he was bringing home fajitas for dinner...
Those steaks can't hide from me forever!!!!
